Jazz

Jazz classes at LʼEcole de danse are high energy classes which focus on learning fun new steps and combinations to modern and popular music. The NZAMD (New Zealand association of Modern Dance) syllabus is taught from Primary 1 to Advanced Level which includes barre, floor and centre work.  

Examinations for jazz are held midway through the year and the second half of the year is dedicated to the end of year recital. Students must wear black jazz shoes and black leggings to all Jazz classes.
